Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their client's dynamic team in Nevada. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers to contribute to the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Enter invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Match and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and timecard verification (as needed).
  • Prepare bank deposits and support monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and basic financial reports.
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments or billing.
  • Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in accounting a plus.
  • 1-2 years of basic accounting or clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
